After school sport

During term time students have the opportunity to register for and participate in leagues for Badminton, Basketball, Floorball, Netball, Touch Rugby, Underwater Hockey, and Water Polo.

Inter-school sport

The Wellington Regional Intermediate School Sports Association (WRISSA) runs inter-intermediate competitions through out the school year for a range of sports including Athletics, Cross Country, Netball, Rugby, and Basketball.

At EBIS, we acknowledge that not all students have an interest in similar activities. We also realise that real learning can only take place when students are passionate. Therefore we have started to look at alternative ways of getting students to move. This include:

• Bike club

• Skateboard group

• Volleyball

• Hip Hop

• Ballet
