SPORT AND PE AT EBIS
By the Numbers:
physical education in the classroom
A wide range of sports activities and options are provided to all students throughout the year. All students participate in physical education (PE) lessons focusing on skill development, positive participation, fitness and teamwork. The school PE shirt and shorts are expected to be worn for all Sport and PE modules.
EBIS has two main school-wide sporting events with plenty of practise leading up to the event – School Athletics (T1 at Newtown Stadium) and Cross Country (T2).
Lunchtime inter-class competitions are held during the week where enjoyment and class participation are the key elements.
The whole school is involved in fitness and sporting programmes at classroom level.
