Position 1. Scale A Teacher - Head of Wellbeing - 2 units

Position 2. Scale A - classroom teacher

Position 1 - Scale A Teacher Head of Wellbeing ( 2 units)

We are looking for somebody with a passion for mental, physical and emotional well-being of our akonga.

As part of your position you are expected to:

·        Lead the well being program for the whole school (this includes teachers and students). With a small team you will create a program making sure the well being of every member of EBIS is priority

·        Be part of the school's specialist program delivering the following:

o   Five hours teaching of healthy and nutritional food program

o   Five hours of teaching of physical health. (This can include any organised physical activities focusing on getting students active and learn teamwork strategies)

·        Be part of the PE/Sports/Health Department. This includes administration and management of sports teams school wide

 

We are looking for a teacher who has a passion for teaching year 7 and 8 students and bring many and varied extracurricular strengths to the position to benefit our ākonga.  We are a friendly, collaborative, energetic and forward thinking team, who value positive hauora for students and staff.

Position 2 - Scale A - Classroom Teacher

Do you love working with year 7 and 8 students? Do want to be part of a friendly, energetic and forward thinking team, who value positive hauora for students and staff?

We are seeking an innovative and collaborative classroom teacher with many and varied extracurricular strengths to bring to the position to benefit our ākonga.

We are a BYOD school so strengths in ICT are a must. Ideally we would love to be able to employ someone with strengths in Maori or Pasifika who could work with others in the team to enhance our programmes school wide.

Your relationships and interpersonal skills are key in our school to allow you to work alongside our team and students at Evans Bay Intermediate.
